Check Engine Light - 2002 S40

Any ideas on how to work around the 'Check Engine' lite? I read a post in which the owner replaced the 10V fuse w/a 15V. I maintain my care pretty well and feel that there's a gremlin inside my car wreaking havoc.

Any ideas/suggestions greatly welcomed.
