My First Volvo (98 S90) Topic is solved

Hey All,

I am a first-time car owner. Been bussing, biking, and walking for many years. Three months ago, I bought a used 98 S90 (98K). It was parked in my sister's driveway for 2 months before I first drove it, yesterday. I was so excited to take it for a drive on the freeway with the sunroof back. Alas, the damned thing busted. I had tested the sunroof not two weeks before, and everything worked. Now, it goes up and down but not back and forth. My hopes and dreams have been dashed to pieces.

I am car-clueless. Any suggestions?

Keep playing with the button. If the sunroof is closed, and you press the rocker switch forward (up), the sunroof will tilt up. Next, when you press the rocker down, it closes. If the sunroof is closed and you press the rocker down, the sunroof should open. Next pressing it up closes the sunroof. It's two switches combined in one. The position of the sunroof determines what happens when you press the switch.
