2001 Cross Country Wagon Topic is solved

Looking for info. from anyone who owns a 2001 or newer Cross Country Wagon. My wife and I really want to buy one of these. We test drove a 2001 with 58,000 miles a few weeks ago and we love the way it drove but there was a very annoying wind noise that came through the passenger's side door at freeway speeds. I tried re-shutting the door, making sure the window was rolled up etc. Upon checking the carfax on this car we found out that it had been in an accident but there were no specifics. All the body panels lined up nicely and the body appeared straight from my eyes. My questions is whether ALL of these Cross Countrys make this wind noise at freeway speed? I found it to be odd that a car of this quality would leak like this. The car was for sale at a dealer and the salesman told us that all of them make the noise since they are a cross between an SUV and a car...........hmmmm. I don't buy it. I think the wind noise is a result of a major accident but I just want to see what you guys think. Thanks!!!!
