97 850 won't start Topic is solved

My 97 850 with 190k won't start. It cranks around and tries to fire up, but sputters and just cranks around. It's been into the shop several times with similar problems, but they can't find what's wrong. They did a 180k service and replaced the timing belt but that didn't seem to cure the problem. I replaced the plug wires, cap and rotor, and that worked for a while, but now it has just shut down.

Any help would sure be appreciated.

Try tapping on the fuel pump when someone cranks it up. When mine went, it would not start intermittently

fuel pump!!!!! check relay or pump. with those miles probably the pump
