Coolant light tempermental

My coolant light has lit up occasionally and then goes away, and repeats. So I checked the coolant. It's the right color and filled between min. and max. Anyone have similar problems? Any idea what could be going on?

ohh I got the same problem on my 97 volvo 850....

I haven't checked the coolant yet...
