Coolant Problem 2000 v40 Topic is solved

I have a 2000 v40. I notice that the coolant was low and put in coolant/water mixture. Engine cooled down for a bit. Shortly after I still noticed that the thermostat was in the red, so I took it to the shop and they told me there was no problem or leak. But I have just noticed that there seems to be no coolant in the car and the thermo is at the red again!!! Then it cools for a bit but back to the red.

Okay, so it seems like there is an internal leak - but what does that mean for me as for fixing the problem and costs? Has anyone had this problem?

I've been adding coolant to my 70 every few months for 3 years now and I know it will never add up to the cost of a proper repair. howstu
