steering pump or belt. Topic is solved

Whenever I let my car idle either the belt or the steering pump starts to squeel. I'm thinking that my steering pump might be trying to lock up causing the belt to slip on it. Does anyone know whats up with it or how to fix it?

Best to locate and repair before the serpentine belt breaks. It might be one of many items such as PS pump AC compressor, tensioner idler pully. The breaking belt can take out the timing belt and engine.
