re-attaching a bent jack-point

Post by grippo »

I'm nearly finished 'renovating' the 1998 V70 I recently bought and the thing that's stumping me is: am I game to just spot-weld the jack point back where it belongs right there under the passenger seat? It looks like the previous owner either jacked the car on a slope and it fell off, or he graunched the jack point on a rock. I haven't looked yet to see how much wiring etc would have to be moved. Any suggestions most welcome.
