'77 244 drivetrain vibration Topic is solved

Under acceleration between 60 and 80 kph (35 and 50mph) I get this very noticable vibration. Easing off the gas makes the vibration go away. Over 80 kph and there is no trace of the vibration - even under acceleration. Any input would be appreciated. -Steve

check your universal joints for signs of rust if you have a driveshaft carrier bearing check that too for deterioriation.

Another thing to try would be to have your drivetrain ballenced and made sure that It hasnt been damaged or missaligned somehow. it could also be somthing to do with rear suspension and rear axle. also check wheels and see if they are ballenced correctly. Good luck
