'96 850 Turbo Suggestions

Post by Brian Fleming »

hello everyone! I've just gotten my dad's old volvo, which he never really took to liking, but i've always loved it. It's a '96 850 Turbo, and I am 100% posotive that i want to work on it. I've been looking at getting some ground work (body kits), mostly from Erebuni, and probably a touring fin on back. I like the gun metal rims from Volvo, and will probably get the car painted black, b/c that's my favorite color. The only problem is that i'm slightly new to cars and I need some help. I don't really know how much all this will cost and How to get it all. Also any other suggestions for making this the most bitchin' car ever would be appreciated....

i was also thinking about lowering it some?? i don't wanna scratch it up though...meh.

if you can help me w/ where to get this stuff, or how much you think it will cost, it would be great...

thanks!

For the lowering parts, I'd go to www.ipdusa.com http://www.ipdusa.com

My guess is they are the biggest suppllier of lowering springs/shocks for 850s, although all you need to lower it really is the springs.

For the rest, shop around, and ask questions

Let us know how it turns out please.

Matthew
