V70 AC fan always on Topic is solved

Has anyone had the problem of the AC / heater fan not shutting off ? I'm brave enough to fix myself, but would like to know what to look for.

On 99-new cars the a/c fan come on about 30 min after the car turn off. it in the onwer book

What was resolution to AC fan always on?

I have that problem with my 2000 S40 (just purchased).

The interior heating/cooling fan is always on. The fan speed switch does nothing.

bad relay? bad switch? other?

I also have that problem with my 2000 V40. The dealership told me the previous owner spilled a soda or somthing and t causes the buttons to do the same. Once in a while both the AC and Circulation buttons tend to stay either in an always on or always off position.
