96 850 Turbo not starting

Post by Maclark »

My baby isn't starting. Let me tell you known issues up front. It has a burnt valve but has been driving fine for 6 months maybe a bit underpowered but starting fine. About a month ago it had started dying sometime when coming to a stop. Put a MAF sensor from another 850 in it and it fixed issue. Ordered one from ebay that was defective. Had been driving car with the dying waiting for replacement MAF when today I went out and it would not start, it is cranking and sounds like it is trying to catch some but just keeps cranking. It has fuel and spark. Fuel pump works, FP relay is good. Smell fuel when pulling spark plugs and some of the spark plugs were damp with fuel. Looking for the next thing to test to try to get her going.
