I have a (1994 ) Volvo 940SE automatic, if I start the engine when cold it's fine but if I have to start when the engine is warm, say after stopping to refuel or similar, I need to give the engine some revs to keep the engine ticking over, otherwise it dies. The engine also dies sometimes if I have to stop quickly.
Any ideas.??

I have EXACTLY the same problem with my 940SE Auto (L Reg).
Have replaced Ignition module, fuel pump relay and had pipes etc. checked. 3 AA people and a mechanic later still no joy.
Have been advised to change the 'fly wheel pick up sensor?'
