S60 Sunroof Topic is solved

Has any one experienced a musty or molding smell in the S60 when the sunroof is open? In my car the smell seems to come from the sunroof housing and is only present when the roof is open. Thanks.

I'm not sure how similar the sunroof mechanisms are between the 850R (my ride) and the S60, but I would guess they are similar.

You may want to check between the roof "cover" of the sunroof and where the sunroof slides into the car's roof. There is alot of space in there and maybe some rainwater got traped inside. If this rainwater started to grow mildew then you would probably onyl smell it when the sunroof and cover were open. I'd suggest using compressed air to blow out that area or some other means to insure there is not water left inside the car's roof.
