could it be in the wiring harness as one guy suggested?
we're baffled. any help would be appreciated.

A little more information has to be provided: what year, make, model, mileage, and more specifics of the symptoms. It is imposable to figure out what is wrong with the information that has been provided.

It would be like going to your doctor and saying I hurt whats wrong?
