I have a 89 740Gl. I was wondering if anybody knew how difficult it would be to put a 5 speed manual out of a 240 into the 740. I blew up the motor in the 240 which is also a b230f engine, so I know the bell housings will match up on the block..what I dont know is will the manual shifter come up in the same exact place as the automatic? or will I have to mickey mouse something to fit. Also how hard is it to put the pedal assembaly in.
