Rattling from engine Topic is solved

The car: 85 240 DL, 172K, 5 spd.

The concern: Rattling/scraping sound from the engine or engine area in idle and low speeds. The noise is much more pronounced in reverse gear. The car has a mild oil leak. Any thoughts? Thanks!

have a look at the engine mounts, they may be worn enough to allow for things to rub.
