S80 surging at cruising speed only Topic is solved

I have a 2000 Volvo S80 which has a problem that is getting worse. At cruising speeds my car surges. Acceleration and idle are fine, but once you get to cruising speed the car begins to surge. The higher the RPM's the worse the surge. I have tried fuel additives with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
I know what you are talking about when you say your car surges. I have a 2001 S60 that is experiencing the same problem only at low speeds. I was told that my "electronic control module" needs to be cleaned or replaced. I am in the process of trying to find out more information on this part and just where that that thing is located to see if it is something I can replace myself. I'll let you know what I find.
