850 Turbo cold start rattle Topic is solved

My 850 turbo, 1995 with 300,000 KM on the clock has begun giving me a brief rattle on a cold start with temperatures in the -10 C range. I have always run 10/30 summer and 5/30 winter, blended synthetics. It sounds like a lifter sticking, but I worry it may be a failing oil pump.

Any experience out there with this?

I am thinking of going from a 5/30 to a 0/30 full synthetic for this winter as cure. Oil and filer have always been done every 8,000 KM.
