V70 rear seat belts stuck Topic is solved

V70 rear seat belts stuck

When I put back seat down and tried to put back up the seat belt on the passenger side retracted too much and now I cannot get seat back up and cannot get seat belt out. Any advice?? Thanks.

You must remove the bolt that anchors the seat belt to the car. It is located under the rear seat cushion. Once it is removed, you are able to return the seat to the upright position, and the belt will release. Replace the anchor bolt. There is a small plastic piece on the webbing of the belt that prevents this from happening. You may be missing it.
