850 turbo - engine swap experiences?? Topic is solved

hi all,

thinking of picking up a 95 T-5R, and am exploring possibilities of an engine swap.

has anyone done this or do you know of anyone who has? obviously it is quite common to drop an american V8 into one of the RWD volvos, but is it possible to, say, drop a S60R engine & tranny into the 850? or another make of engine/tranny?

i still love the look of the 850s, but am desiring of a bit more performance, a la a boosted S60R.

i would be willing to spend what it takes to get it done properly.

if anyone has any knowledge or opinion on this, i'd really appreciate the responses. thanks!!
