I had my front brakes and rotors replaced a couple of weeks ago.
Today, when I was driving in the snow, I jammed my brakes to avoid hitting a deer and I heard a "crunching" noise and something that sounded like a spring popping? Anyone knows what's going on.

Do your brakes work normally now? Does it pull one way or does it have a scraping sound? It may have been something as simple as ice buildup braking off or you may have a more serious issue.
You should probably carry it back to the shop that performed the brake job and tell them you have heard a "crunching" noise and other strange sounds when you apply the brakes.

It works normally, except for that point of time when I jammed the brakes really hard, that I heard the noise. I haven't had the opportunity to brake hard again.

If you paid someone to repair your brakes you should take it back to have them inspect them. There may be something "out of whack" that can be corrected under the repair warrenty.
