Xc mileage? Topic is solved

My wifes XC wagon has been a great car for sure. Makes those 4 hours trips much more enjoable.
A question about mileage though, seems that as the temps drop so does the mileage. Yea I know, longer idling (in the driveway) time but were also not running the A/C. Drops from a normal 17-18 around town to 13-15. Dealer said that was O'k but I gotta believe something is up. Any ideas?

Oxygenated fuel is law in some parts of the US in winter, and is known to drop fuel economy. Other than that, is your temp needle getting to the normal position?

Forgot about what they do to the fuel during the winter months. That might explain it but my camry doesn't seem to suffer the same.
Temp seems O'k, explain though.
Would any type of a sensor problem cause this?

If your engine is not getting warm (say the thermostat fails and is stuck open, so it's continually cooling the engine), the efficiency of the engine will suffer.
