Car has about 150K miles. Everything runs fine when first started including tranny. Shifts smoothly and will squeal the tires. BUT! Once it warms up the tranny siezes up completely! Won't move at all! Have changed fluid. Was told there is some kind of a unique filter somewhere in the tranny that's difficult to get to or something and that it could possibly be clogged up. Does this make any sense to anyone? I'm a new owner here and appreciate any help.

What type of fluid are you running in the tranny? How is the level? You do know that the level is supposed to be checked w/ the car running, right? The thing that could be clogged is the Valve body in the transmission. If it gets clogged, fluid cannot efficiently circulate, which causes all sorts of problems. You may want to give something called Auto RX a try. I used it in my engine and it seems to have worked great. It could help w/ cleaning out that valve body. Let us know any updates.[/url]
