1980 244DL Broken Seat Topic is solved

Hi All,

Long time Volvo driver, first time poster.

So I recently got my hands on a sweet little 1980 DL in mostly awesome condition. Sure the speedometer is busted and the dash tells me that there's a light out somewhere when there isn't, etc., but despite leaking oil like a strainer, the car drives awesome (it's even fast!)!

My problem is with the passenger side seat: it does not fold forward. Now this is a two-door car, so only being able to get passengers into the back seat via the driver's side is usually inconvenient. Is taking the seat off/apart relatively easy, or do I have to find myself a new seat?
