Fuel gage stops at half empty Topic is solved

After filling up the tank reads full and then when it reaches past half it sticks at half full and I have recently ran out of gas becasue of this misreading. How can I change the gage out?

One would need to check if the Gage is the problem or the Sending Unit in the fuel tank is to blame. The sending unit has an access panel just behind the rear seats.
