help w/ the oil consumption, i have been told my turbo is okay but the such and such needs to be replaced....can someone tell me ?

Have compression and leak-down tests been done on the engine? If so, what numbers were given from it? What weight of oil are you using? Dino or synthetic?

If test are run on the engine and all pass ok, you may have a clogged crankcase ventillation box which will cause oil consumption without seeing smoke out of the tailpipe. This is very common, especially if the oil isn't changed frequently.
