86 740 rough idle question Topic is solved

ok, the car idles rough when it warms up, idles ok when cold but drives great, ive checked wires and plugs and they are all good, but ive noticed when i pull the #1 spark plug wire while the car is running the rough idle doesnt change but when i put the #1 wire back on and pull another wire it changes, ive also disconnected the fuel injectors one at a time and the only one that didnt effect the idle was the #1 injector, so my question is is it the fuel injectors or something else? any input would be greatly appreciated, thanx

I had a rough idel problem (91 740) that was easily fixed by replacing the knock sensor. This also boosted my mpg by about 20%. I must add that my check engine light had come on which suggested the knock sensor be replaced.
