'87 760 turbo wagon...starts to die when I take off Topic is solved

After driving in stop and go traffic for 45 minutes I stopped at a traffic light. When I started to go, the car acted like it was going to die...the red dash lights started to come on and then all of a sudden it took hold a little, petered out a little, took hold again, started to die, putted along and then finally took hold and drove normal. When I got to the next stop, it did the same thing. The problem continued at each stop light. Got the car home and let it sit. Drove it for 10 minutes about 2 hours later and it was fine.
