Head lights turn of when I drive thru a bumpy road .

Please help I have a 99 S80 that must have a short circuit. When the lights are on they turn off if I am driving on an uneven street. Any sugestions.

Have you checked your battery connections, head light relay/fuse connections? Have you tried to see if the high beams also go on and off? The relay box in the Passenger Compartment has CSH4 for low beam CEM and CM17 for low beam relay. Good luck.
I had fun a couple of weeks ago, my 99 S80 battery died on me, and only after a good jump start was I able to get the car started. On the way back, the head lights would go on and off, mostly during bumps. I drove back with only parking lights. It requried a new battery and all is well now.
