Whole car shutting down, suspect electric short in AC

G'day,
I have a 1995 850 T5 wagon in Sydney Australia. Twice now the car has completely shutdown like there is a short on the electric

I suggest that you check the alarm relay. The relay is an internal switch that prevent the car to start if the alarm is on. If you disarm the alarm but the relay is not function properly the relay will prevent the car to start. Good luck
