immobilizer in V70

I have had problems with the immobilizer in my 2000 V70 since the car had 16,000 miles. The dealer replaced the immobilizer module 2 x under warranty, and now with the problem occurring yet again, they will not replace it free of charge because I am out of warranty.
Anyone else had these problems.
