Need Help with Timing Belt!!

Post by Guest »

I have a 93 850 and am in the middle of changing out the timing belt. question....

while taking this off. i've noticed the notch on the crank gear lines up with the block, but both cam gears are 1 tooth off.

is this a problem? should i move the cam gears a tooth to line them up before a put on the new t-belt or leave it as is? i question this because with the cam gears off a tooth, i've managed 26-30 mpg for the last 6 months. thanks for your help

Joe
