How do I know if I have a CD changer

I've seen the topics where they say I can hard-wire an ipod if I have a cd changer, but I don't think my 2002 V70 has one. It isn't listed as one of the "sources". Could I still have the changer option, it just isn't hooked up?

If not, is it possible to hard-wire an ipod or other mp3 player? The FM modulator (too much congestion in Boston) and tape (horrible quality) aren't good options.
