Tow truck damage to my 99 S80

I just had my car towed to the dealership because my power steering went out. I got a call the next day asking if I had hit something. The steering rod and ball joint were physically damaged. Now they are saying my internal frame is cracked. Has anyone every heard of a tow truck damaging a Volvo's frame before?
