Stalling - 98 S70

Post by stall »

I have a 98 S70 with 135k miles. A few weeks ago, the check engine light came on and it was taken to the shop. I was told the codes were for a faulty oxygen sensor and both oxygen sensors were replaced and the check engine light were reset. Before the car got home, the check engine light came back on. To make a long story short, the car had another set of oxygen sensors installed (OEM), had a used "central computer" installed, had the MAF replaced and I still have the same problem. The guy at the shop is getting frustrated as I have not paid except for the first set of o2 sensors. This is my wifes car and the only time the stalling has occured with me was when starting from a dead stop. I was making a right turn as well. The stalling is intermittent but the check engine light comes back on within 10-20 miles

Anyway, the guy at the shop is losing interest so any tips would be appreciated.

Finally, a new problem occured today where the car will not shift out of park unless you hold down the shift override.

Thanks in advance
