how much should a set of front breaks ?(rotors and pads) cost me any ideas

I don't know about rotors but Pads from the Volvo dealer for my 850GLT were around $75. DO NOT buy aftermarket pads, they WILL squeak :x

$45.00 for Genuine Volvo front brakepad set
$59.00 for a Genuine Volvo front rotor

those are probably the best prices you will find
