OK, Can anyone answer this one?
a little history first.
the head blew out on my 1993 volvo 940 turbo. I replaced it with a newer working one, and did everything needed to it such as getting it machined and trued, replaced almost every gasket. The works...
I had trouble starting it up afterwards and thought it was just the timing. It wasn't. It was the distributer cap being cracked. So I bought a new one.
I timed the car as best I could with the new cap installed. It starts right up, but runs like I am towing an eighteen wheeler behind it. (sluggish and turbo kicks in a whole lot, has trouble shifting then slams into gear when it does.)
So here I am. I turn it off, check the wires and found a loose wire so that solved all of it I thought. I get ready to put everything back together and run a couple of quick checks. I give it a little gas in park, and it acts as if it wants to sputter out for a second then runs fine again. I do that a couple of times, and now it is running horribly. Sputtering, hard starting, rough running. And i think exhaust is leaking out from the manifold.
I have been tinkering with this problem for three weeks and cannot get it to run as it should, it there anything else I need to do??
PLEASE HELP!!!
