C70 purchase advice

Post by Guest »

Hello,

I'm needing a bigger car so my TT has to go, I've been looking at the C70 and one has just come up a '99 2.5 coupe 56k on the clock.

Is there anything I should pay particular attention to when I go to see this car?

Any advice would be very gratefully received.

Regards

Ian

My advice would be to go with a '98 model year and not a '99 to '01. In '99 the electrical system was completely redone on all the Volvo's and these cars are prone to some rather costly electrical bugs, most notably the ETM failure.

If it's the convertable RUN don't walk away. The dealers as late as this spring still had '04s on the lot. They stopped building them !!!!!
