Volvo S70 1998 Interior Leather On Door Bubbled

Anyone know any advice on how to get this fixed? i have looked a bunch of volvo s70's on ebay and many have the same problem. Has volvo done anythig about this? Thanks

It is a widespread problem.

Volvo only covered it during the original 4 years or 48,000 mile warranty. Their solution was hardly satisfactory. On my wife's 1998 S70, we waited for almost a year while Volvo (or the dealer) stalled and then they came out with a "kit" that only included a center section piece of leather. Dealer technicians were supposed to cut out the bubbled center section and glue in a new piece. Dealer mechanincs are not usually skilled in uphostery and they did a poor job on mine. The repair was not satisfactory, but that's all Volvo and the dealer would do.

My '99 S70 has the same bubbling problem.

Volvo Sucks!
