XC90 middle backseat won't fold down

XC90 middle backseat won't fold down

The middle back seat in our '03 XC90 (that we just bought a week ago) won't fold down. I think the latch is broken as the other 2 seats fold down, no problem. Does anyone know how easy this is to fix? Can the mechanic access the latch by removing the back of the seat or does the whole seat have to be replaced (heaven forbid)?
