Information on the B5204T3? - mods? Anything?

Information on the B5204T3? - mods? Anything?

Hi

I've got an Asian import 1997 S70 with a 2 litre B5204T3 engine - I believe this is a spec for the Asian markets only. Imported into New Zealand from Singapore.

I can find very little on line about this particular engine re possible mods or issues with it. I suspect the usual breathing and exhaust mods can be done easily enough, but I can't find out anything about ECU upgrade for this engine - it has a Bosch 4.4 ECU with the end digits of 447. Trouble is there is very little available in NZ for Volvo mods - will have to come in from overseas.

It is a great car but has massive lag - when it hits 4000 rpm it lights up and goes. The engine apparently puts out 225 hp stock and I think it has a 12T turbo. That's about all I know.

Thoughts re ECU mods or anything known about this engine or spec please.
