Having a challenge getting a tight grip on the base for an infant car seat (baby carrier clips inside base) in my 01 S60 - it doesn't have the latch system that seems to be so much tighter and standard on most cars post 02. Followed manufacturer's instructions and checked Volvo owner's manual, but just can't to get a snug grip. Anyone have experience with this?

I had the same problem. I bought the iso hooks from the dealer for 19.00CAD per side. Installation was very easy. After having it inspected by a professional they mounted the infant seat in the rear passenger side seat and used the iso fix attachments with foam spools underneath to level it. I did not have to buy the iso fix attachment for the other side, so if you order them just get it for the right hand side.

Cheers,
Raj
