RPM/Reference Sensor Failure - 1993 850GLT

Post by Digital2 »

Has anybody had RPM/Reference Sensor Failure on 1993 850GLT before?

The dreaded flashing arrow came out but the whole car appears fine. Gears can still change. Mileage is 11.7 litres per 100km. Diagnostic said 3-1-1 which means no rpm sensor. Checked and cleaned connector unless break is deep inside the harness where I have not checked yet.

any and all comments welcome. ECU failure not likely since car can still run right?
