1996 850 - Can't get key in ignition

1996 850 - Can't get key in ignition
Don't know what's going on here, but when I try to put the key in the ignition, it's as if there's something blocking it from going in at all. Does anybody have any experience with this?

Move your steering from side to side while you try to put the key in. It could be the wheel lock mechanism.
