well we got one today at a discount price due to neededrepairs not yet made. brought it to mechanic and had him go through the car, determined the cost of repairs and felt comfortable. We are happy and feel we got a good deal overall..so of course I ask now..any real issues with the car? We are replacing o2 sensors brake and rotors battery radiator tires and rack and pinion. our total with registration tax and purchase is 6500.00, intreior is nearly imaculate (a good detailing and its up to par) moonroof doesnt leak (hosed it hard for a half an hour before bringing it back to seller. Any how we are happy so if you know of any red flag issues please feel free to let us know. thank you all very much. :D

Sounds like a steal. How many miles? I haven't heard (on this board) of any common S80 problems. You might want to Google it.

Would you care to send in a pic and document the fixes/early experience with your S80?
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

I own a 98 S90. It's been a wonderful car with no problems. Although, the ball joints, and bushings in the suspension didn't last as long as I would have expected. Other than that, no problems to speak of. Brian
