Wrong timing belt tensioner part II

Post by Craig again »

I have now spoken to my local Volvo garage and they tell me that on the T5 there are a few different timing belts available and that you need to specify engine number when ordering replacement belts.I appreciate you're trying to help yesterday but I'm not a begginer and this would only have taken a couple of hours if the local motor factors had given me the correct belt in the first place.I'm a bit puzzled as to why Haynes only mentions one type of tensioner in their book!.Also prices for belts don't vary that much between dealer and you're local motor factors , the difference is the dealer one costs twice as much....(being as the motor factors belt only costs
