2000 Volvo S70 sensor location

Anyone know where I can find the speed sensors for the 2000 S70?

Vehicle speed sensor is mounted directly on top of the transmission, right below the air cleaner box. It's the one closest toward the firewall.

Do you mean the sensors at the wheels?

If so, look for the only electrical line near the hub.

I have a 2000 Volvo V70 SE, and I was curious if there were any pictures of the front transmission speed sensor. Is it one of those types of things that just go break down electrically overtime, or could I actually Clean the connection peice. ( or my wasting effort energy and time, and I just need to replace it

Reviving a 13 year old thread! Must be a new record.

Anyway, what symptoms are you experiencing? If the speedometer is erratic or not working, it can sometimes be a result of a faulty ABS unit. Any other lights on or Check Engine codes?
