Matthew, we replaced the odometer and we disconnected the srs on the passenger side and after reconnecting and putting everthing back together the srs light stays on. Is that something that needs to be reset???? Do you know the code and how to do this??? HELP!!!

Connect to diagnostic lead to the B5 terminal (Right hand diagnostic box) with ignition in the on position (engine not running)
Press the button for 1 second and release
Now you should get a series of blinks (ie 2-2-2) once the 3 digits have displayed, press the button for 1 second again.
You will see another set of codes (if there are any more). If it is the same one as before then you need to do the reset procedure..

With key still on, and all codes have been displayed, press and hold the button for 6-7 seconds and release, wait for led to come back on and press & hold for another 6-7 seconds. Now the codes should be reset, you can now press the button for 1 second to check that the codes are cleared. You should get a 1-1-1 code if there is no stored codes.

Remove the diagnostic lead and turn off ignition. Restart car to check SRS light has gone out.

I just did this lastnight after I replaced my cluster lamps, I accidently pulled the Passenger side airbag connector out and it set a code when the key turned on to check my new cluster lamps. If code keeps coming back ensure that connector on the bottom of passenger airbag is seated properly and the pins are not bent.

Stay safe also when working near airbag connectors, ensure you have got rid of any static from your body by touching some grounded metal, and try to keep your body out of the way incase the airbag decides it wants to go off.
