I know I read and saw pictures of someone who had converted the connecter in the 850 head unit to RCA connectors. Unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it and I didn't bookmark it. If anyone knows where I can find this at I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Here's a thread that mentions "RCA":

Beyond that, I'd call audio shops (car) or Volvo dealer and ask if they have harnesses that convert to/from RCA.

Actually I was wondering if it had an additional input that can be converted to RCA's. Basically I want to connect my ipod and the tape adapters/fm units sound like crap. My car is an in-dash cd player but it was set up for use with the 6 disc changer as well. So I'm wondering if that input can be converted to RCA's... or am I just being an idiot?
Thanks

What's the cost of a good aftermarket deck that would have pre-outs that still has the same sound of the stock system? I have the SC-815 system. Thanks for the help
the volvo radio is double dinn (notice the size) , an aftermarket radio isnt expensive at all , the single dinn that is, all you need is a deck with an auxillary connection and you can run whatever you'd like, some places may refer to it as an AUX, you could spend from $99 to $500 or higher, i'd go into a store and ask about it, or simply post some ones you got info on here and i'll help you out
